To sum it all up...high school sweethearts! I wrote for the school newspaper The Talon and had the golden get out of class free pass. I decided to interview the hot football player per my classmate’s request. Little did she know that the hot football player (Jason) would not be the slightest bit interested in getting to know her **ha ha!!** I soon discovered his witty sense of humor and charm with a heart of gold. The rest is history with two people growing up together in life and love.

Then the day came, December 10th 2006 which marks the proposal of a life-long commitment together. He drove me up to Mt. Soledad where we spent a lot of time as teenagers. I suddenly felt ten years younger as we drove up the hill side with the same music that we played those times. On bended knee he asked if I would make his life complete. Of course I said YES!

Friday, July 11th 2008 will be our first day of marriage and our celebration of 11 years to the day together! Our ceremony is held on the tropical patio of the Bali Hai located on Shelter Island at 6pm. Our colors are red with gold. We will be united by Reverend Barbara Young in a non-denominational ceremony. Following the 20 minute ceremony will be a cocktail hour while we get our wedding portraits taken. Immediately following will be a buffet style dinner.

Should I mention all the excellent Hawaiian style cuisine we will be enjoying?! We will have a fabulous buffet including Tri-tip of beef, Roasted Island chicken, and for my vegetarians a Tortellini with Alfredo sauce. You will have way too many choices for your salads--believe me and all are fantastic! Your sides will include Fried rice and Garlic mashed potatoes. So come hungry and your stomachs better not interrupt the ceremony!

Saturday evening we will be saying good-bye to sunny San Diego and boarding our plane to tropical St. Lucia in the Caribbean Islands. I'm not looking forward to an 11 hour trip--but may need the rest after spending the night with you party animals!! The rest is top secret and may have a rating of XXX !!!!
